COLD
Beginning Stained Glass - Copper Foil - 4 sessions - $155.00
Learn to create stained glass from the professionals. We'll show you how to cut and break glass, grind, foil, solder, and finish your project using the copper foil method. The first two weeks will be spent on the beginning class project, and the second two weeks will be a project of your choice. All materials and supplies are included for the first project, however, students will be responsible for any "consumables" such as pattern, foil, glass, etc. You will receive a student discount. This class meets once per week for 3 hours, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., for four weeks in a row. Depending on interest, the class will be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. No experience necessary.

Beginning Stained Glass - Lead - 2 sessions - $95.00
Tired of the copper foil method? Give your projects a smooth, consistent look using the lead channel method. Learn to design a window using a center bevel cluster and beveled border. You will complete one project. This class meets on two consecutive Thursdays, starting on the third Thursday of each month, and runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. All supplies will be provided. No experience necessary.

WARM
Fusing - Jewelry Cabochons - 1 session - $85.00
Learn how easy it is to create your own glass jewelry cabochons for earrings, necklace, or brooch. You will leave with an understanding of glass fusing and several pieces to make into jewelry at home. This class does not include jewelry assembly. Each student will have their own AIM84 kiln with 7 x 7 shelf. This class meets on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. All supplies will be provided. No experience necessary.
Fusing - Techniques - 3 sessions - $150.00
This class will focus on learning techniques ranging from simple fusing to embossing, slumping, draping, painting with frit, using decals, foils, and other inclusions. We will cover temperature control for specific techniques. Characteristics of different glass will also be covered. Each student will have individual use of an AIM84 kiln. This class meets the first three Tuesdays each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please keep in mind this class is more about learning techniques than creating make & take projects. No experience necessary.
HOT
Beginning Lampworking - (Flameworking) - 1 session - $150.00
Learn the basic techniques of lampworking - melting glass rods in the flame of a torch - to create your own glass beads, using Bearden's dual fuel torches. This class will cover safety, studio setup, basic shaping, stringer application, using frit, and simple color mixing. This class meets on the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All supplies will be provided, however, students will be asked to bring their own eye protection. No experience necessary.
Beyond Beginning Lampworking (Flameworking) - 1 session - $150.00
This class focuses more on heat control and will cover subjects such as sculptural techniques, raised florals, encasing, and complex cane. Experience with lampworking required. All supplies will be provided. This class meets on the fourth Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students are asked to bring their own eye protection.
